“There is communion of more than our bodies when bread is broken and wine drunk.”
― M.F.K. Fisher

How do you connect through your food?

Robinson's training is the culmination of personal experiences and education. It's knowing how to use a given technique to achieve a specific result with the best products available. It is not their place to tell you how to eat; they only strive to use their know-how and to give you what you want. Eating healthy and eating deliciously need not be mutually exclusive. Love on a plate or in a drink are expressions sometimes missed when it comes to the art of hospitality and when attempting to connect with patrons and friends.

So what specifically does that mean?

  •  I try to put the best plate of eats/drink on the table, made of the highest quality ingredients that I can economically source.

  •  I try to give the best value for money.

  • I try to give whomever I am feeding an experience that they will want to come back to.

Simple recipes and  straightforward food ... somewhere along the line it seems to me that people started to over-complicate cooking and cocktails in thinking that the more sophisticated the ingredients they used the better the end result would be ... so not true.  Some of the best, most honest fare on the planet comes from underdeveloped countries where there are no truffles or pomegranate oil, etc. ... simple good food has nothing to hide behind ... it stands alone on its own..... - Lenard Robinson

“... food is not simply organic fuel to keep body and soul together, it is a perishable art that must be savoured at the peak of perfection.”
